The first DLC I recommend you do after you get your weapons to 10. Or if it’s too hard, do it at the end of the game. The second DLC, do that after doing everything else in the game.
When should I play Dark Souls DLC?
I would recommend doing it before fighting Sif (but after gaining the lordvessel), and being level eighty before venturing into the DLC. Any lower and you run the risk of getting destroyed, the DLC is no laughing matter. You’ll do fine at level 50-60 if you have a good weapon with decent scaling.

In NG the official recommendation is after you make it into Lothric Castle. I’d assume that matters less in NG+. Level wise, it suggests hitting the DLC after the Archives. But since you’re on NG+, that’s kind of moot.

They’ re totally separate from the main game. Play the DLCs whenever you feel up to their challenge. Though I’d personally recommend playing Ringed City only once you ‘ re at the very end of the game. Ashes of Ariandel is intended to be played earlier than the Ringed City DLC.

Until production finishes on Elden Ring, it’s unlikely fans will get any conclusive news on Dark Souls 4. The game is probably still years away from release, likely not arriving until 2022 or 2023. But if Miyazaki’s words are anything to go by, there will most certainly be another Dark Souls game in the future.
Is ashes of Ariandel worth it?
I warmly, most emphatically recommend getting Ashes of Ariandel. It’s an absolutely beautiful piece of Souls content. It is fairly short, because there are only 2 bosses, so there’s less for you to get stuck at and die a lot. But one of those bosses is a top tier boss in the entire series.
Is Dark Souls 1 DLC worth?
Absolutely! The DLC bosses are all amazing. The final area of the DLC is absolutely magical, and Dark Souls is not Dark Souls without that area. It has the most beautiful armor sets too, and you can find black magic (hexes?)
Is Dark Souls remastered worth it?
To answer the (title) question: Yes, Dark Souls Remastered is worth owning as a newcomer. But, if the question is to own DS1 vs DS3, I would defer (personally) to DS3 over DS1 for PvP and something that overall, is less buggy. For lore, you should definitely play DS1 prior to DS3. But stick to DS3 for dedicated PVP.

Is DS3 DLC hard?
Not at all. But they’re very difficult in innovative ways – there are many situations in both DLCs where you have to have a different plan of attack compared to the standard DS3 approach. They’re both amazing pieces of content, better than the base game mostly IMO.
Should I kill soul of cinder before DLC?
You don’t get forced into NG+ so just take on the Soul of Cinder whenever you want to. He’s a bit of a cakewalk after you already get good enough at the final bosses of both DLCs. Nah, just kill him. The DLC bosses are tougher and you might want to level up for them.
