Description:
SKIP N UNION is a branded Wiescamp stallion who was the second
highest selling AQHA stallion in the Hank Wiescamp Dispersal Sale
in June, 1998. Before Mr. Wiescamp passed away, he had never let
a son of Skippers Ring leave his place. Union's picture was in both
Western Horseman and the Paint Horse Journal in their stories about
the Disperal Sale published in August, 1998.
Skip N Union has the
pedigree, conformation, and disposition that Hank Wiescamp was famous
for producing. In fact he looks almost exactly like a painting done
called "One of Hank's."
You can see all of the
classic features of the "Skipper W" family of horses including a
beautiful head, with short fox ears, large jaw, and wide spaced
gentle eyes. He has a beautiful neck, big hip, smooth muscling,
and that most desirable dark golden color. But perhaps the best
thing about him is his gentle, easy-going disposition which he consistently
passes on to his offspring.
There were 7 yearlings
by Skip N Union in the Wiescamp Disersal Sale which averaged over
$10,000 each, including the high selling yearling, St Union, who
sold for $20,000. > St Union, out of St Dolly has proved to be a
good investment, since he has now sired over 26 foals, and has achieved
a ROM in Halter himself.
Although we are a small
breeding operation at this time, we do accept a few outside mares
for a breeding fee of $2000. We do have several horses for sale
sired by Skip N Union. Check under our horses for sale, or come
see us.
