A Farms is the home of Mike, Patty & Luke Allred. In the heart of
Dixieland, just 30 minutes south of Jackson, Mississippi, their
farm is easy to find just 2 miles off the interstate.
Mike & Patty fell in love with the Wiescamp / Skipper W family
of horses when they bought 2 yearling fillies from their friend
& neighbor Mr. Ed Jackson, who had been raising these horses for
several years.
They took a trip to Alamosa, CO to visit with Mr. Hank Wiescamp
in 1996, and had the opportunity to sit in the office of the "little
yellow house" with Hank. They came home with lots of stories, 6
horses, and a deeper love for the "Skipper W" family of horses.
The complete Dispersal Sale in June 1998 was a mixed
blessing for the Allreds. Like the many other Wiescamp fans, it
was truly sad to see the end of an era. But it was also a dream
come true for these Southern folks to be able to bring home such
a wonderful stallion as SKIP N UNION, as well as several broodmares
which Hank had bred himself.
These horses have added tremendously to the breeding program of
Angle A Farms, and are the foundation of the foals they are producing
now. The Allreds have reduced their herd, but continue to breed
Skip N Union to a few mares, and offer horses for sale. You are
welcome to come visit to see the horses and enjoy some southern
hospitality.

Silent Rula is another one of our fine mare, out of a daughter of
the great Spanish Ruler.
